This week, I asked my community what new year’s resolutions their families had chosen for 2025. There were so many amazing responses that came back! Read below to see which printables can help you accomplish these goals this year!
Strengthen Family Connection
- 30 Ways to Connect in Under a Minute – If you feel like connection is a chore rather than a joy, this printable will show you just how easy it is to build connection with your child. Because the happiest children are the ones who feel most connected!
- A Quick Guide to Family Meetings – If you want a stronger family, research shows that the strongest families meet together regularly. If you don’t know how to hold a family meeting, or which components make it successful, this will help you get started with unifying your family.
- Family Dinner Questions – If you want to level up your family dinner conversations, have some fun conversation topics! This resource includes questions for kids and separate questions for parents. This helps your family stay curious and to develop a culture where everyone feels like they belong.
Build Sibling Friendships
- Let’s Build a Friendship – If you want your children to become better buddies at home, create a friendship factory! This resource has get-to-know-you questions so your kiddos can make sure they know their siblings really well, ideas for how they can spend time together, and a fun “choose your own adventure” to decide on joint activities.
- Help Siblings Become Better Friends – If you want more ideas from my community about how parents help their kiddos become better friends, here is a treasure trove of ideas to use in different situations!
Have More Family Fun
- Family Favorites Passport – If you’d like to create memories and have some fun adventures as a family, this passport will help you do just that. Pick categories for favorites to discover, and work your way through your list! Revisit your favorites over and over again and build your family culture doing so.
- How to Get to Yes – If you want to say “Yes” more, learn how to say it in a few different ways! Then your “no’s” become more meaningful when you hold boundaries and keep people safe. We want children to feel like we are on their team, and that we are all working together.
Build and Teach Skills
- The Family Economy Bundle – If you want to raise kids who are motivated, resilient, and hard-working, give them chores! This resource will teach you how to set up a work-for-pay system in your home that runs in the background. This will also teach kids money management and delayed gratification, as they learn how to handle and spend money.
- The Mom Store – If you want to encourage more reading in your home, this resource helps you create an extrinsic reward system that will help your child develop an intrinsic love for reading that lasts a lifetime. Included in this resource are instructions, tickets, labels, and fun coupons.
- Teach Your Child to Do Laundry – If you want your child to take more responsibility for their own laundry, these levels are broken down into bite-size tasks to help your child where they are, and to help them continue to grow. Take your kiddo from totally oblivious to ready to launch!
I know these printables can help you strengthen the connections in your family, while teaching skills and having a lot of fun.
