2023 at Simply on Purpose
We cannot believe 2023 is already coming to a close. This has been an amazing year here at Simply on Purpose, and while we have many exciting things in the works for 2024, we want to pause for a moment and to express our gratitude to our incredible community. It means the world to us that you are continually striving to be a source of positivity and encouragement for your children.
Join us as we revisit the memorable moments that defined our 2023. It has been a year of growth, learning, and change, and we couldn’t have achieved any of it without your unwavering support!
Introduction of the Simply on Purpose Print Shop
Because we all LOVE printables around here, we launched the Simply on Purpose Print Shop in February. This addition to the website has been a fantastic place for parents to download digital resources to supplement their parenting efforts.
While many of these resources are free if you are on the Simply on Purpose email list, additional products are constantly added to support parenting and family culture.
A few of the most popular printables for 2023 were:
- 5 Love Languages for Kids (a quiz and ideas to find out your child’s love language)
- Behavioral Momentum (ideas for how to get the good going)
- Build a Lunch (ideas and pictures for children to pack their own lunches)
- The Thankful Tree (a Thanksgiving tree and leaves for families to write what they are grateful for)
- Fill Your Child’s Cup (25 ideas to connect with your child this holiday season)
The Summer Subscription Series
In June we launched the “Summer Subscription.” These resources are a way for parents to teach their child a core value and a life skill. Each resource includes kid-friendly definitions, prompts for conversation starters, role play ideas, affirmation cards, book, movie and video resources that teach the value, and a recognition award for children at the end.
Each month of summer included the following values and life skills:
- June: Respect and Laundry
- July: Empathy and Washing Dishes
- August: Courage and Cleaning Bathrooms

New Webinars with Ralphie
While 2023 is not the first year I have offered live webinars, I introduced several new topics that had thousands of participants! These new webinars included:
- Teaching the Value of Work: The Family Economy (including a bonus of The Family Economy Bundle)
- Understanding Your Teen: How Their Brains Work and What They Need From You
The Learning Project
Who didn’t love the Learning Project? I mean, a free mini-course on parenting every month with a free resource? It was the best! Thousands of you tuned in on Instagram every month to learn new skills.
